Dave Howe is a veteran and wood-crafter with a career spanning since 1995, is a pillar of the Howe Woodplay community. His craft is rooted in decades of hands-on experience, patient experimentation, and a commitment to quality that customers can feel in every detail. On 30 acres of mature forest in Newberg Oregon, Dave runs the shop that is as much a studio as it is a workshop—where timber, tool, and technique come together to produce pieces that endure. He values sustainable sourcing and thoughtful design, often drawing inspiration from the surrounding woods to ensure each item honors its origin.
Meggan Blasingame Howe has extensive experience working within Waldorf school settings. A devoted mother and grandmother, she is passionate about bringing joy to children through the art of play. Meggan is committed to protecting the most vulnerable and advocating for appropriate care and support for children and young adults. Through her work, she strives to create safe, nurturing environments where young people can thrive while engaging in positive, meaningful play.
